Our mission is to provide decent, safe and quality affordable housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities to the City of Humboldt.

As a premier housing provider we provide housing that is comparable to the private sector. To do this we keep Well-maintained properties and high trained, competent staff.

We know our resident expectations are high and we aim to keep them there by meeting these on the daily.

We want our program to help promote home ownership & self-sufficiency over time to provide a deconcentration of poverty.

Public Housing was developed by The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide affordable, decent and safe rental housing for low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

Application Process

Must have original birth certificate and social security card for all children under 18

All adults must have a photo id and original social security card

Proof of ALL INCOME (children and adults)

Landlord References (name, phone number, and address)

Criminal and credit background checks will be conducted
